 Family Day is a special occasion dedicated to celebrating the love, unity, and bonds shared among family members and friends. It is a day set aside to prioritize spending quality time together, fostering connections, and creating lasting memories. Family Day serves as a reminder to appreciate and cherish the relationships within our families, recognizing their importance in our lives. So today, Im gonna share to you guys my experience last April 23, 2023, Asian College of Technology Family Day. I was with my mother and brother during that day but we had a little interaction because I was so busy talking to my friends and preparing for the dance palabas. To be honest, I found Family Day this year boring, stressful, at the same time fun maybe because I was so tired from practing our Intrams Dance Palabas which was presented on the day. INTRAMS 2023

ASIANISTA GAMES 2023 Asianistas  Intramurals are an exciting time for many students. This is the time when all students come together to participate in sports competitions. These events allow the students to showcase their athletic abilities, make new friends, and have fun. Three of the sports in intramurals I participated in were volleyball, basketball, and table tennis. In this blog post, I will talk about my experience playing these sports for the Golden Lions.  Basketball.   I originally participated in this sport while I was in elementary school and still required to participate in intramurals. The intramural in 2023 was different for me because I wasn't forced to participate, and most of my teammates participated out of their own free will, but some were. I didn't want to take the game seriously at first, but I had a competitive team, and they were desperate to win. Except for the game versus the green team, every game we played went smoothly.   ANG PAGKAPANTAY-PANTAY    Ang gender inequality ay matagal nang isyu hindi lang sa ating bansa kundi sa buong mundo. Karamihan sa atin ang nakakaalam na ng isyu na ito ngunit binabalewala sapagkat ito'y "hindi" gaano kalalim kumpara sa ibang isyung kinakaharap ng Pilipinas.      Ang gender equality ay estado na kung saan ang pagkakaroon ng access sa mga karapatan o pagkakataon ay hindi naaapektuhan ng kasarian nino man. Ang ekwalidad sa kasarian ay hindi nangangahulugan na ang mga babae at lalaki ay dapat magkaroon ng EKSAKTONG pinagkukunan ng oppurtunidad, ibig nitong ibahagi ay hindi nakabase sa kung ano mang kasarian—mapababae, lalake, transgender—ang pagkakaroon ng responsibilidad at oppurtunidad. Malinaw na para maging totoo ang pagkakaroon ng gender equality para sa lahat, ang responsibilidad na kumilos upang mabawasan ang "inequality" ay dapat na pinapaabot sa matataas na sektor ng gobyerno upang gawan ito ng paraan at suportahan. "BEJEWELED "    I call this picture "Bejeweled," for it gives off the vibe of a jewel for Christmas that serves as light for everyone. It reminds me of the nostalgia of childhood during Christmas, when I wake up and all the bright, merry  lights are on . During Christmas season, light played an important role wayback. They used candle lights— which already evolved as bulb now— to light up their houses.  EDITING PROCESS   APPS USED: - IbisPaintx - VSCO    In editing, we aim to focus on the main subject, which is the red Christmas light. In order for us to achieve that, we tried to blur the background using IbisPaintx by duplicating and erasing the picture and adding a gaussian blur effect. And then, we added a new layer to adjust the contrast and intensify the subject. To really highlight a certain aspect of our image—the Christmas light—we will use the VSCO app and apply a vignette effect to darken the border, and that's pretty much it!  Here's the edited ve

ONLINE CLASS: Good For Students or Not?

   Is online class beneficial for us students? Or is it one of the reasons why students these days are lacking in terms of knowledge? Is it advisable for students to do online class?     Last 2019, there was a sudden outbreak of virus called 2019, which obviously caused a ruckus globally. As a result, class were switched from face to face to online class. Mixed opinions regarding the matter were raised in social media, some would say that online class is efficient for it may have cost less and the others would say face to face is much preferable. In this manner, students could learn properly, however, people had no choice. Students' capability in school is frequently questiones in social media for it has been said that students are lacking of proper guidance mainly from their teachers.   Alin nga ba ang mas madali? Ang pagiging tao o makatao?  Maraming bagay ang ikokonsidera kung alin nga ba para sa akin ang mas madali, ang pagiging tao o ang pagiging makatao?  Buong buhay ko, lagi kong ikinokonsidera na ang pagiging makatao ang mas madali sapagkat sanay na sanay akong nakikisalamuha sa iba ngunit sa mga nagdaang buwan tila ba ang hirap nang makisalamuha sa mga hindi mo gaano kakilala na umabot ako sa puntong naginh peke ang dahilan ko sa pagtulong. Ngayon masasabi kong mas madali ang pagiging tao, bakit? dahil ang pagiging makatao ay minsan nang nagpaubos sa akin. May mga oras na ang pagtulong ko sa iba ay nagiging dahilan ng pagod. Ang pagiging tao ay madali sapagka't tayo ay nalikha na, hindi na natin kailangang kuwestiyunin kung tayo nga ba ay totoo. PAGBUO NG MISYON MO SA BUHAY         Maraming bagay ang ninanais matupad ng mga taong kagaya ko na ang iniisip lamang ay ang kinabukasan ko at sa lahat. Lahat ay may kanya-kanyang pangarap sa buhay, ika nga nila libre ang mangarap, kaya mangarap ka sa naaayon sa gusto mo. Isa sa mga nakakahadlang nito ay kung paano mo nga ba ito mabubuo? Makakaya mo ba itong mabuo?       Ang pangarap natin ay ang nagsisilbing inspirasyon para tayo'y magpatuloy, maging determinado at magsumikap sa buhay. Hindi natin maikakaila na mahirap itong abutin lalo na't kapag limitado lamang ang oportunidad na naibibigay sa iyo ngunit sa pagsisikap at tiyaga hinding hindi ka magkakamali rito. Upang mabuo ang ating misyon sa buhay, ating ihanda ang ating sarili na humarap ng kahit ano mang pagsubok upang makamit ito sapagkat sarili mo lang ang maaasahan mo sa mga pagkakataong iyon.
